The Mental Health & Aging Project will present a workshop in Farmington
Hills on February 18, 2014: " Preventing and Responding to Challenging
Behaviors in Persons with Non-Alzheimer's Dementias" by Dr. Shelly
Weaverdyck.
Participants will learn how to assess individuals with Alzheimer's
disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, and Frontotemporal dementia and how to develop effective interventions that are specific to the person, situation, disorder, and stage of disorder.
This presentation is designed for a multidisciplinary audience. CE's are available for social workers and nurses.
